Mass flow is fine as we track the mass. They just don't occupy space so a 1mm droplet will fit through a 0.1mm hole.
We've always added DPM as a separate line into presentations as it's a different multiphase method (Lagrangian) compared to the Mixture, Eulerian & VOF (Euler). The distinction is largely historic as DPM is the first multiphase model that was used.
