Hi I think there is a problem here which prevents your PC to connect to the university licence server. It may be that you have put in an incorrect hostname and/or port number when installing EduPack. This information should have been provided to you by your institution. Maybe make sure you have the correct hostname and port number and re-install EduPack, if this is the problem.
Or that there is a problem in your connection with the VPN to the university server? If this is the problem than you should not be experiencing this error when you are on campus and directly connected to the university network (without a VPN).
