Try enabling the ÔÇ£preserve surfaceÔÇØ option for the geometries you intend to apply the voltage to. This will separate the structure from the adjacent geometries made from the same material. Once done, you should be able to select the surfaces separately. Right now the highlighted surface in P1 is simulated as a single block, so you canÔÇÖt separate the surface as described.
