The APDL code is using Beam elements while the Workbench example is using Solid elements.
Those are VERY different meshes with very different requirements. For example, you should have at least two elements in the Y and Z cross-section directions when using solid elements, but your mesh has only a single elements.
You could have meshed with Beam elements in Workbench by drawing a line body in SpaceClaim or DesignModeler and you would have got the identical result that APDL gave you.
