Hi symmetry condition is nothing but a fixing the degree of freedoms necessary - so a displacement BC.
On that face you show the displacement fixed is perpendicular to the symmetry plane/face so DX = 0, X is fixed.
See if that helps (displacement BC) to do what you need instead of using symmetry.
