While assigning the current you are actually assigning the ampere-turns.
The person who is designing should know how many turns he is going to put in the coil(s).
For example: If there are 10 turns and you want to check the performance for 2A through the coil, assign 20A as the current.
OR
You can run a parametric with current and come to a conclusion about the required ampere-turns and then decide the number of turns based on the current requirement or vice-versa.
