I have another question. In Maxwell 3D (magnetostatic) analysis, I have a 'force' setup in 'Parameters'. When generating the ECE model, the force in the z-direction is selected as an output.
Do you know how the force is calculated in this model? In my understanding, when moving the magnets, the induced current will be generated in the coil and the current will lead to a magnetic field, which will generate the force on the magnets to prevent their motion. But in the model setup, the coil is not connected to the circuit. There should be no current in the coil. But why the force still exists?
