Hi Glen,
At this point, we are going to need more details.

Are these errors in the cluster std error and out files?
Can the student copy the following example project and reproduce the issue? 
--  /path/AnsysEM/AnsysEM21.2/Linux64/schedulers/diagnostics/Projects/HFSS/MPI_tst2.aedt
Please share screenshots of the submission or the batch submission script.
