Hi Rob, thanks for your reply. That sounds like a good idea. The problem I currently face when I try your solution is that the whole domain gets split (i.e. the plane outside of the nozzle exit aswell). That way it is not possible for me to generate the interior at the nozzle exit... And yes you are right, I mean boundary surface, not layer. Do you know how to solve this issue?
