My question is not related to the way to conduct compressible flow. As I known, pressure-based solver is based on incompressibility assumption which the density is neglected in governing equations, but how can it in the case solve the compressible flow conditions? Is it replacing the velocity (u) calculation with the momentum (rho*u) calculation?

Otherwise, I feel that the pressure-based solve seem to be like the low-mach solver which is generally used in combustion simulation. Is there anyone that  can tell the differences?
