Can you please try and download it from:
https://www.ansys.com/en-in/academic/students
and reinstall after uninstalling the current version? If you are not using the free version and using a research license, you may want to check with the university IT dept, and request an installation package from:
https://download.ansys.com/Current%20Release
Also, make sure that you install the prerequisites as well.
