One thing I forgot to mention:
I do get the analysis to solve when suppressing every contact and pretension setting and just generate automatic contacts. That solution does not make much sense but it is not getting cancelled due to no convergence.
Maybe one of the expert users can tell me how they would set of the contact definitons in the model I presented above?
