Hi Erik, this a simple problem I solved by APDL, and the applied load (2000 N) matches with the reaction force at the bottom and the reaction force on the soft material (RED color). My problem is somehow this scenario. The soft material is in between two curved surfaces. It really baffles me how! and why! the FSUM command on the total nodes of the bearing model gives me 97.97 N/mm but if I select the reaction force at the bottom surface of my model where I have fixed BC or if I select the surface of the soft material all give me FSUM = 90.8 N/mm. I am stuck in this model for weeks. I changed the contact type from rough to bonded it got worst. I changed it from rough to frictionless, but nothing changed.
Thank you if you can provide me some tips.
