I’ve solved the problem. The problem was simply a inconsistency between the materials’ indexes. I had chosen the material GaAs from the program’s list, then I set the value by hand as 3.5. Now it almost perfectly matches with the stackrt results with a small deviation at the R plot, where it shows some overshoot above 1.
As it is evident, a finer resolution is needed to see the sharp fall, which isn’t a problem; however, the overshoot is a small problem.
Hence, I assume the book is using different values for the materials which I need to figure out either by trial and error or learning the exact reference they use, somehow.
