Edit the geometry and put a generous blend radius on each corner.
When you mesh these blend radii, make sure there are at least 10 elements around the edge. Make sure these edges are on the Contact side of the contact pair (not the Target side).
That should cause the stress in the 2D axisymmetric model to be more reasonable.
