I am using a RR distribution. I know the values of d_mean and the N but I am unsure of what max diameter and min diameter to use.
For example if I have a distribution with mean 10 and spread 2 the 'greater than' value has dropped to 4% at a value of 20. I could set min diameter = 1 and max diameter = 20 to cover this range. What is the penalty If I set the d_max to 500 to capture the tail of the distribution?
