Oh, there was one thing. When I upgraded to 2023 R1 earlier this week, a couple days before I starting seeing this error I got this install error. It let me skip it and I wasn't having any issues using explicit dynamics with the install for a couple days. Once the error started I thought maybe this was related so I manually installed the .NET package. One subsequent re-installations of ANSYS at least I didn't get this particular problem, but the Fortran error has persisted.
