The reason why I want to use the combin39 element is that I want to simulate a component with a nonlinear resistance-displacement relationship that changes with the load (or time). For example, the resistance-displacement relationship changes from real constant 1 to real constant 2 as shown in the graph. It seems that only combin39 can simulate this relationship in ANSYS, while combin14 can only simulate linear relationships.
