I once saw a promotional video about ANSYS and Rocky, presented by ANSYS senior engineer Jiang Xuedong and hosted by Molly, which mentioned the use of flexible shell particles in Rocky to simulate Belts and Packing Efficiency. If flexible shell particles can simulate the belt and packing, I wonder if I could model a cylindrical membrane with the flexible shell particles, then extract the stresses on each shell element and control its stress change using the user custom with API, wouldn’t it be possible to apply uniform pressure to the cylindrical membrane? I'd like to give it a try if that's possible. But now, I still don’t know how to find access to control the stresses on the flexible shell particles.
