I have uploaded some images of our model. The second and third picture is an image of the model with the reinforcement and without the reinforcement, respectively. Base on our own judgement, we think that the reason why meshing the said model is hard because of the third image where areas where the reinforcements are supposed to be are hollow which makes it hard for ansys to mesh.
We are to mesh and analyze the beam column joints of the structure and we were actually advised to divide the model so that we can precisely mesh the beam column joints and with smaller element size while the other parts of the model can be meshed with bigger element size, but we find it hard to that.
In addition, we can't seem to find the "Model Type" under properties section to use the REINF264 element. Thank you in advance.
