In addition to Rizky’s answer, I consider the hybrid initialization as an initial guess to our solution, done by Fluent. Referring to Fluent User’s Guide, it says we generally do not need to change the number of iterations (default value is 10). However, for complex and highly curved geometries, if the default number of iterations is not enough to reach the convergence tolerance of 1e-06 and the flow fields are not to your liking, then you may want to increase the number of iterations and re initialize the flow.
