Ok. One more tip on WB Unix/Linux.

In you home folder, there is a ~/.mw folder which contains the Ansys Workbench settings just as on Windows. 

~.mw/Application Data/Ansys/v212

The GUI setting for the Distributed is in: 

~.mw/Application Data/Ansys/v212/SolveHandlers.xml

Look for 
DistributeAnsysSolution
(Enabled = 1 Disabled = 0)
