Yes, sure, you can do that, and the cable definition won't affect the Hydrodynamic Diffraction analysis, so you can also use only one project, and solve the Hydrodynamic Response analysis with different mooring configuration cases, but each time you finish solving one mooring configuration case, copy the Hydrodynamic Response results in the solver file directory into another folder. Then you can use AqwaGS to plot the different mooring case results and merge them together into one diagram.
