What version of Ansys are you running? What is the OS on the computer?
Can you go to C:\Users\ and try renaming the .cfx folder to .cfx.old and restart the application? If you can't find .cfx, enable search for hidden directories and then check.
Are you able to launch CFX from outside Workbench?
