DDPM may not be entirely suitable. I suspect Eulerian-granular is going to work best for sedimentation. If you're looking at separation DPM may work well. It depends on what you're trying to find out from the model. You also need to understand what each model does: in multiphase we often choose the model based on the desired results: ie what we want to show/know from the simulation.
