Hello,

To model a net like this for a hydrodynamic analysis, you should either:

• Create the net geometry explicitly in the geometry editor (SpaceClaim), using an arrangement of several line bodies. The viscous drag and added mass contribution of the net in the hydrodynamic analysis is accounted for by Aqwa as it solves the Morison equation for each line body element.
• Or, model the effect of the net by adding a number of Morison disc elements directly in the Aqwa Workbench editor. The disc normals, added mass coefficients and drag coefficients should be chosen to match the real hydrodynamic effect of the net.
