Hello Eugenio,

You have a couple of options:

  • In the HR Stability Analysis, right-click on Solution, Insert Result -> Natural Modes, and evaluate. This will show the natural frequencies/periods and % of critical damping for the system including the environment and connections. The motion amplitudes in the table show the relative significance of each degree of freedom at each natural mode (the actual values have no physical meaning).
  • Alternatively, you can add a Connection Stiffness matrix: right-click on Connections, then Insert Connection > Connection Stiffness. This allows you to define a 6x6 matrix of linear stiffnesses between the structure and the ground, which you can use to model the effect of the tether at the structure's HD analysis position. These stiffnesses will be used in the HD RAO calculation, but they will not be used in any HR analysis (Aqwa assumes that the connection stiffnesses would be represented by actual connections).

I hope this helps.

Cheers, Mike
