I am new to Ansys Mechanical and Acoustics. Currently I am doing a DAVA simulation of a windshield noise, where exported pressure from Fluent is mapped to a sturcture in order to propagate the noise inside the cabin.
My question is:
Do I need to define a contact between Structure (which is a shell meshed by shell elements) and acoustic region ? In spaceclaim geometry i have defined "shared topology" between objects to enforce conformal mesh between structure and acoustic region. In this case is it necessary to define contact or FSI ?
