The fluid flow part would be a boundary, and you may use profiles/UDF/expressions to alter the direction. Look at the options next to Velocity Specification Method. Or you'll need to extend the domain a bit (very precise measurement) to let Fluent calculate the flow to give the cone.
The DPM injection then handles the solid particles (in your example).
