So in stand-alone the res file was able to be run? That tells us that the solver license, installation and everything is working fine. Ant that there is nothing wrong with the setup. I do not recall if res files saves the partitions or whether it repartitions every time. What happens if you give it a different number of partitions when you run the res file.
What does "continue calculation" mean? Is this a Workbench thing? It could mean your Workbench project is corrupted. This is why I typically run my studies in stand-alone. I wouldn't be able to help you recover the Workbench project.
