Sorry I don’t do Workbench.
And when I speak of stand-alone, I mean close Workbench and from the Windows Start Menu find CFX. This will start the CFX Launcher. Change the working directory to something appropriate, like where your files are. Then open the CFX Solver manager. Then in the Define Run window specify the working res file for the Solver Input File.
In CFX the file can be run from a def or a res as they both have everything they need for the solve.
