So the model needs to be well restrained otherwise the solver will not be able to solve (due to rigid body movement).

Instead of 2 forces one can have a fixed support and a force, or

instead of 2 forces you can put two displacements (Z=Y=0 and apply X displacement) and look at their force reactions.

Also we can use symmetry (1/4) to restrain the model so it can solve so many ways to achieve a well restrained model.

NOw if you want to know what they do ion the video:

One can use weak springs if we do not have restrains (that is what they are using in the video).
