Recently I was learning some knowledge of viscoelasticity and trying to use prony shear relaxation to fit my date curve,but I don't know how to define the modulus of elasticty.
Based on what I have learned,I think the Elastic modulus was the sum of modulus of spring in a generalized Maxwell model.
To obtain this total elastic modulus, should I do uniaxial tensile or compressive tests on my cube sample in a high strain rate or not?
