Does it run when you don't use parallel? I am not familiar with AppsAnywhere, but are you running locally or using it to run on the University Server?
One search of AppsAnywhere not working showed the following: If you receive errors trying to run the software, make sure to run Windows updates to ensure your operating system is up-to-date. Some anti-virus programs may block AppsAnywhere or Cloudpaging player from running. Try temporarily disabling your anti-virus program or white-list these applications
