Was the old license server running the ANSYS License Manager?
Try the following:
Remove the following Environment variabbles:
Make note of these before deleting.
LSTC_LICENSE=network
lstc_license_server=server
Next, add the following Enviroment Variables:
LSTC_LICENSE=ANSYS
ANSYSLMD_LICENSE_FILE=port@licenseserver
port is usually 1055
servername is the hostname of your new license server
