Thanks for sharing the video link.

http://docs.lumerical.com/en/index.html?ref_sim_obj_structures.html is not available anymore. It might have been used in older versions of  software.

Ansys Lumerical can "Import" geometries or create gemetries using "Structures". You can find more information of FDTD here. FDTD product reference manual – Ansys Optics. Check "structures" and "Import" under simulation object session.
