To perform an FSI analysis you must define both fluid and structure geometry. Structures in Ansys can be simulated with the use of Thin Structures modeled as Surface bodies. On the other hand, the fluid domain is typically modeled as a volume rather than a surface body. For example, if you are performing an external flow analysis you must create an enclosure around the structure to represent your fluid.
Therefore, if I understand your question correctly, it is possible to import your structure’s geometry that is modeled as a surface body, but afterwards you must create the fluid domain in Discovery or SpaceClaim.
