Hi. I'm solving a similar analysis with a compressor shaft supported on two bearings. I have my axial direction in X and transerve direction in Z (both in Global coordinate sys). I have applied Body-Ground bearing contact on both ends by constraining YZ plane of rotation and Kzz as K11, Kxx as K22 and so on.
Is the modelling approach for bearing support correct? Finally, I'm interested in the transverse disp or Z direction disp for given vertical load.
