I was able to add ANSYSLMD_LICENSE_FILE as an environment variable with the path to the license file, as seen below, but this did not result in any change. I can try installing 2023 R1 and see if it works. I've also attached the folder items in the start menu for OpticStudio 2023 R2, the Licensing Client Settings program is the same as what opens when "Open Ansys Client Settings" is pressed in the Optics Launcher. .png)
