Very helpful discussion here, I meet a similar question recently. Just have a minor question still, do you know what is the correct format of binout file (or the correct format that I can Ls-prepost to read to show the fringe figure)?
Also do you know how to open the binout file? I tried with notebook and VS code, both of them can not decode the binout file.
