Please try using more number of k-vectors in the transverse direction and also increase the number of interfaces along the propagation direction to see if the resolution of the index results is improved. I would ask you to perform convergence testing with respect to these two input parameters to confirm the accuracy of your results. We have also seen some inconsistent results from the index monitor recently (which I am not sure is of relevance here), for which we have contacted the R&D team. We will let you know as soon as we have more information.
