OK, that may explain it. Expressions have been improved significantly since being added to the code so whatever caused the issue is likely to be been fixed in 21R2 or 22Rx. Current release is 2023R2. I'd also advise running models in Fluent standalone (open via the Windows Start menu) unless you need the parameter tools.
