For single surface contact, you can focus on "Surface A" parameters, SFSA, SAST. For this application though, I would suggest using *CONTACT_AUTOMATIC_SURFACE_TO_SURFACE so the SURFA and SURFB are distinct and rcforc data via *DATABASE_RCFORC data is produced without need for a force transducer.
