Static and explicit dynamics really depends on a few things, say the nature of the load, so if it is a transient (explicit) or if it is just a static pressure load (then use static perhaps). See our help manual and the forum and internet on differences between a dynamic explicit analysis (say used for impact, drop or severe transient blast loads, etc).
