Hi fgonzale,

Normally if the STL Prep is unchecked , you should not see the 'Facets' ribbon but for some reason it's showing on your screenshot earlier.

Please check if you see 'Facets' in File -> SpaceClaim Options -> Customize -> Ribbon Tabs . If so, uncheck that.
