Hi Win,


I have stopped lptables so it does not seem to be a firewall issue.  It seems like the license manager cannot find the license server.  When I try to set license preferences, I get the error "could not connect to any license server".  The head node on our cluster is the license server and the external IP address for the cluster was recently changed. Could that be causing a problem?  The first few lines in the license file are as follows:


SERVER head 003048dc8258 1055


VENDOR ansyslmd


USE_SERVER


The host name "head" is associated with the cluster's internal IP address in the /etc/hosts file so the external IP should not make a difference when I try to start the license manager right on the head node. Correct? Any other suggestions?
