        I just tried with full model by meshing specifically at the contact area using sphere of influence and meshing it with 3 mm mesh size using sphere of influence.The force applied is 3500 N in 7 steps and it is acting through a small rectangular track which comes in contact with the rubber portion in 7 steps and fixed support.


But the rubber portion is deforming heavily and showing very large deformation.

The error message which i have received is as follows:


 


I think i have made some improvements in mesh size by giving sphere of influence at the contact zone.But still i am facing these problems. Kindly suggest me methods by which i can avoid such errors and get a solution.
