Yes, it is Autodesk Civil 3D. As there is no option for .step export, i ve to go with .iges.
The body is generated using a cloud of points of a geological topology (extracting the contour points). I need to develop a solid model of it, then simulate it in a FEA software.
I found Autodesk Civil 3D doing the task easily ( if you could suggest any other i may try that one too).
When i tried to import the same file i uploaded in Abaqus, it shows up, but not in Ansys! But operating in Abaqus is doesn't offer much flexibility than in Ansys.
If you need, I can send you the point-cloud file too.
