I don't think there is any setting which controls the display of min/max toggle button.
Did you try recreating the result object again and see if it solves the problem or not?
Are you seeing this issue with a particular result or all results?
Also, if this issue observed on a specific project or other projects?
Can you share details of the simulation that you have carried out and the result type that you are evaluating? I can try to check if the issue is reproducible at my end.
