Dear all,
after an intensive step-by-step study I came to the conclusion that 1/8 of the box area also requires 1/8 of the heat capacitance (logically and as expected).
It has just been a random result that the hand calculation matches the FEM with full capacity value.
The dramatic heat loss in my model obviously is caused by beadings that significantly increase the surface area and reduce the insulation thickness below.
